Tired of looking at the same old computer screen? Want to rotate a variety wallpapers with a well designed mix of photography and Kanji? Then the Discover Dalian Wallpapers are the perfect solution. Each set contains a series of four wallpapers, one focusing on each Kanji character for the name Discover Dalian in Mandarin Chinese. And each features a dynamic photograph of Dalian taken by SongLi.

What is a Widget?

The Yahoo! Widget Engine (formerly known as Konfabulator) is a JavaScript runtime engine for Windows and Mac OS X. It allows users to run little files called Widgets. These applications that can do pretty much anything. Widgets can be alarm clocks, calculators, can fetch the latest stock quotes, current local weather, or RSS feeds. Widgets to blend fluidly into the Windows XP and Mac OS X desktops without any constraints of traditional window borders. An assortment of originally created widgets related to Discover Dalian are featured here and may be downloaded for free. Some are fun, others more useful, but all uniquely Dalian. New widgets are currently under design and being programmed, so please check back for updates. Links to third-party widgets have also been included, if their function is beneficially related. System Requirements: - Windows XP or Mac OS X 10.3. - A connection to the Internet. - 512 megabytes of RAM (recommended). - Lots of spare time.
