The most famous beer in China, Tsingtao Beer, was originally created by German colonists over 100 years ago. This legendary brewery tradition gathers in the coastal city of Dalian every July for a month-long beer festival. Held in Xinghai (Star Beach) Square, the annual drinking extravaganza draws an international crowd of nearly a half-million visitors. Ticket prices do vary, but visitors can enjoy a steady tap of assorted international beers.
