| Payment Policy: |
After a reservation is made, you will be sent a confirmation code and a minimum amount for the down payment by eMail.
A down payment of 50% is required in advance of all tours. Any discounts are applied to the remaining balance. The remaining balance must be paid before the tour begins.
A minimum of 7 days notice is required to book a date. Tours can be booked next day (24 hours), providing the day is open, but no discounts can be given. |
| Payment Method: |
All advance payments must be made through PayPal, either by credit card or the PayPal service. No extra charge will be added to cover the transaction process fee. This cost is absorbed as a service to our customers.
Once in Dalian and before a tour beings, any remaining balance may be paid in cash, either in US Dollars or Chinese RMB. Because of the bank and credit processing limits in China, no bank checks, traveler's checks, or credit cards will be accepted. |
| Payment Time Period: |
If a payment is not submitted within 24 hours, the reservation will be automatically canceled. Any cancelled reservation is subject to exclusion from re-activation.
The 24 hour grace period does not include the time required to verify and process payments through PayPal. Once a payment notification is received, it will be accepted on good faith until it has been officially verified. |

| Please privide the verification code from your confirmation eMail, when making a down payment. It will speed the process of matching payments to reservations. |
| Final Confirmation: |
| A final verification eMail will be sent when funds are transfered, and any further instructions or information as required. |

No refunds are given on deposits. |

If a tour is cancelled by a client, no refund on any payments will be returned. |

Rescheduling a date is not guarenteed, but is possible at the discression of Discover Dalian's schedule. |

Rescheduling a tour will forfeit any offered discounts. |

In a case where a tour cannot be held because of bad weather, rescheduling or discount compensations will be offered on a case by case basis. |

Client illness or accidents, while unfortunate, will not qualify for a refund. |

Refunds are not given because of previous bad experiences with payment fraud.
In addition, Discover Dalian is not a big bus that can fill seats with any warm body. It is a personalized tour service that focuses on the individual. By booking a date, it cannot be offered to anyone else. When a date is cancelled, it is highly unlikely that there will be time to offer service to anyone else.
Therefore, while every effort will be made to accommodate a client's situation and find a suitable resolution, deposits are required to hold a tour date and no refunds are given on these deposits. |
