Whereas the Historic Tour takes visitors through Dalian's past, the Cultural Tour is a path to the city's present. While still rooted on its colonial foundations, Central Dalian has developed its own identity. Visitors will experience a mix of culture and tradition as they see the different sides of this coastal metropolis. It is the perfect blend of viewing grand scenic wonder to being up close and personal with bustling daily life.

Tour Highlights:

Laodong (Labor) Park

The oldest and largest park in Dalian, it is Dalian's Central Park. The site of many seasonal festivals, the beautiful scenery of Labor Park is the perfect metropolitan picnic spot. As a symbol of Dalian's fame and enthusiasm for sports, a giant red and white soccer ball rests within its grounds.

Dalian Radio & Television Tower

Offering a central view of Dalian, the TV Tower soars 360 meters above sea level and boasts a world record foundation base of 190 meters. The Observation Hall offers stunning views of Dalian and beyond, and can be seen from nearly every vantage point within the city.

Renmin (The People's) Square

The People's Square is a vast park chain located at the center of the Dalian's government buildings, used to commemorate national holidays and other municipal events. Once known as Stalin Square, it used to host a large statue celebrating the city's liberation by the Soviet Army. The monument was relocated to Lushun District in 1999 and replaced by a massive European-style fountain and white marble courtyard. The square consists of four lawns each measuring some 10,000 square meters. In summer months, the Dalian mounted police women patrol the square on horseback, but the beautiful police traffic women attract visitors year round.
